Refund Policy

1. Money-back guarantee · full refund within 7 days
Every new Skyline VPS account is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee on the first paid subscription. If it is not right for you, request a refund from your dashboard within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.
To keep the guarantee meaningful and prevent abuse, the following conditions apply:
- One per account. The guarantee can be claimed once per Skyline VPS account, regardless of which plan was purchased. Once a refund has been issued on your account, future subscriptions on the same account are not eligible.
- First subscription only. The guarantee applies to the first paid subscription on your account. Subsequent subscriptions, renewals, upgrades, and reactivations after the initial 7-day window are not covered.
- Within 7 days of the first payment. The 7-day clock starts on the date of your first successful charge. After 168 hours from that charge, the window closes and the guarantee no longer applies.
- Reason required. A brief reason is required at the time of refund (collected through the dashboard cancellation flow) so we can understand what went wrong and improve.
Free TFXS Gold tier trials are not refunds: nothing has been charged, so there is nothing to refund. If you upgrade from Gold to a paid plan, the 7-day money-back guarantee starts on the date of your first paid charge.
When a refund is processed, the subscription is cancelled immediately and the associated VPS is permanently removed (no 30-day grace window). Funds typically settle back to your card within 5 to 10 business days.
EU/EEA customers: your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union or EEA, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your contract within 14 days of subscribing, without giving any reason. This applies in addition to the 7-day money-back guarantee above, and a new 14-day period opens with each new subscription.
Because your VPS is provisioned and active immediately, you expressly request, when you subscribe, that the service begin during the withdrawal period. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, we refund your payment pro rata: we deduct a proportionate amount for the period the service was active and refund the remainder. Your subscription is cancelled and your VPS is shut down immediately.
To exercise this right, use the "Withdraw from contract" button on the Billing page of your dashboard, or notify us by email at support@skylinevps.com. We will send you an acknowledgment of receipt on a durable medium (by email) without undue delay.
2. Payments are non-refundable outside the 7-day window
Once a subscription period has been paid and the 7-day window has elapsed, the payment is non-refundable. This includes:
- Partial months when you cancel mid-cycle
- Unused days when you stop using the service before period end
- Renewals and upgrades after the first 7 days
- Subscriptions on accounts that have already used the money-back guarantee once
You can cancel any time from your dashboard. Your VPS keeps running until the end of the period you've already paid for, no further charges happen, and your data is preserved for 30 days after the period ends. Reactivate any time within that 30-day window to restore your VPS exactly as you left it. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted.
3. Prepaid time is non-refundable
If you use the "Pay early" feature to prepay one or more upcoming months in advance, the prepaid amount is added to your account as billing credit. Future renewal invoices automatically draw from this credit before charging your card.
Prepaid time is non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription after prepaying, you keep access for the duration the credit covers, then the subscription ends. We do not refund unused billing credit. Use Pay early only if you are confident you will use the service through the prepaid period.
4. Annual plans and the Switch to annual feature
Annual subscriptions are billed in full at the start of the year. The same 7-day money-back guarantee applies to a brand new annual subscription on a first-time account, under the same conditions as monthly plans.
When you use the "Switch to annual" feature to convert a monthly subscription mid-cycle, your card is charged the annual amount minus a prorated credit for the unused portion of the current month, and your billing cycle resets to that day plus one year. The switch itself is not a new subscription and does not reset the 7-day money-back eligibility on your account.
5. Service credits for SLA misses
If we fail to meet the 99.99% monthly uptime SLA, you can claim service credits (not a cash refund). See the Service Availability section of our Terms. Credits are applied to your next monthly bill, capped at one month's fee.
6. What is not refundable
To keep things fair for everyone, the following are not refundable under any circumstance:
- Trading losses incurred on your VPS · we provide infrastructure, not financial advice
- Issues caused by third-party software you install (broker terminals, custom EAs, etc.)
- Account suspensions due to violations of our Acceptable Use policy
- Downtime caused by your own actions (e.g. shutting down the VPS, deleting Windows files)
- Any paid subscription period after the first 7 days
- Subsequent subscriptions on an account that has already used the money-back guarantee
- Prepaid billing credit (see section 3)
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us (we will dispute these with documentation)
7. Chargebacks
If you have a billing dispute, please email us at support@skylinevps.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We're a small team and we read every email. We can almost always resolve issues faster than a chargeback process (which takes 60-90 days).
Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension and will be disputed with documentation.
